It asks for 3 permissions. You see them before you approve the install. Team Hub can view your Confluence content and spaces. It can access Atlassian user accounts for posts, reactions, and visibility. It also reads and writes its own app data. That is all it asks for. Only a Confluence site admin can install it.

Do we have to set up a new vendor to try this?

No. The install starts a free 30-day trial. You need no credit card. Past the free tier, Atlassian adds the app to your Confluence bill. There is no new vendor to set up. Atlassian sells apps at the same user tier as your site. Plan to pay for each licensed seat, not only the staff who post.

What will Team Hub cost at our user count?

It is priced per user on Confluence Cloud. The rate per user drops at each tier. Big sites pay much less per user than small ones. Yearly plans are one flat price for your user tier. Can we take down a post that should not be there?

Yes. Only a Confluence admin can add or remove Team Hub moderators. Moderators can edit, delete, or close any post. They can also move it back to drafts. If they edit a post, they must say why. Team Hub then tells the post's owner.

Will Team Hub work for people who do not read English?

Today the interface is in English only. We are working on German, French, Spanish, and Polish. More will follow. We have not published release dates. Team Hub takes each person's language, time zone, and date format from their Confluence profile. If Team Hub does not support their language, it shows English.
